It is yet another time of the year when schools take stock of their academic gains or losses, those that register improvement rejoice, and the ones that decline grieve. The same can be said for the Mathematics department we registered an impressive improvement index. The mean score for mathematics rose from 4.6868 to 7.4368. Once again we are the Sub-County champion convincing say that we are not only good but also getting better each subsequent year.

There is a strong belief that good performance in Mathematics can catapult the school to the realm of eights or nines. Since we also believe in the same, I call upon the members to double their efforts, despite the numerous shortcomings, to make this a reality.
To my colleagues, I urge you to continue with the good work and the team spirit we have developed for these are powerful tools in keeping up with the positive trend.
Practice the new ideas we have learned with the positive trend of Mathematics in the last six years in this school. With them, together with our supportive attitude of the students, we can reach and even surpass the projected mean score of 8.0. We are confident it will come through our slogan ‘DO MATHS’.
I appeal to all concerned; the students, the staff, and the parents to give us the required support.
